• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:gaah:After DPS install I have nothing but trouble with a previously fine running :spyder2:. Since the install the right turn signal has to be reset manually after every turn. Yesterday I wanted to take a long ride to test the DPS and after only 12 miles at under 60 MPH the :spyder:started acting up :dontknow:, Limp Home Mode, Check DPS and VSS Faillure warnings came on. The ignition was turned off for several minutes, re-started it, things looked normal and after ten miles or so same thing again, repeated the procedure, turned around and while heading home riding at 30 MPH on the breakdown lane the same thing happened several more times. Tomorrow I'll call the shop and make an appointment to have it checked . I got bit upset because it was a beautiful day for a ride in South Jersey, same kind of weather today but I'll have to pass on it. :gaah::gaah::gaah:

It is possible that the new box exposed another, previously damaged component. It happens. The more likely scenario is that your tech failed to reset the steering sensors, as required, or sat the DPS on a metal bench, ruining the steering torque sensor. The New DPS istallation is not as tricky as the first recall, but it does require following the directions exactly, and a certain amount of skill and care. I hope they get You squared away in short order.

I would say that if the turn signal is not cancelling in one direction they never made sure the handel bars were straight when they did the senser resets.
