• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Prosport Digital Gauges of Voltage and Oil Pressure

I have the Prosport digital gauges to install on my RT. The Voltage gauge has multiple +12 volt connections. For those that have installed these, which connections did you use and where did you hook up to on the Spyder? I'm wondering if I can just pull the 12 volt lead that was on the factory gauges? And I probably will not use the dimmer as the lights are always on anyway.

If I remember correctly all of my connections were made to the factory gauge plugs. The only wire I had to run was the sender wire for the oil pressure.

my dealer hooked up to the headlights for volt so it will go off after the lights turn off all i can say is no problems with mine we also wired the gauges for "red" was easier to see in daylight had a choice red/blue i went red and like said just had run the wires for oil unit directly and it works great also wired to headlights for power.

Got the new Prosport voltmeter and clock installed this morning!

I used the existing accessory +12 volts that was already there for the accessory feed.
I ran a wire directly from the battery (BOTH + & -) to the new gauges.
Installed an inline fuse on the positive side and ran that to each gauge for the constant +12 volts. Then used the negative from the battery to both gauges.

Here's what they look like! VERY neat install, everything (except wiring to the battery) was included...AND as a bonus, Prosport Gauges included the sun shields in the package.

When you turn on the key they go thru a startup similar to the analog speedo & tach.
When you turn off the key, because I used the existing accessory feed, they stay on for about 10 - 12 seconds and then go thru a shutdown cycle like the digital screen.
Pretty cool!
