• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

a 'Dust Devil' yesterday. Had my faceshield at the halfway position so kinda got my cheek sandblasted. Just glad I had it low enough to cover the eyes.

I got caught in a sand storm near Tucson, AZ. I was wearing a half helmet at the time. I thought I would never get the sand out of my ear. But, I didn't have to shave that side of my face for awhile.

I think that we decided that the plural of "Haboob" just has to be, "Haboobies"! :roflblack:
If you get caught up in one of those; is there a chance that your bike will suffer damage to the exterior surfaces? Did you clean out your air filter after things finally calmed back down?

Ha-boob (pronounced Ha-boo), is an indian name for a massive storm. First the distant sky will turn orange, the temperature will drop, and there will be a eire calm. Then the wind will pick-up and turn into a howl, blowing sand into a huge sandstorm (hence why the sky was orange). Usually following the sandstorm will be a massive thunder storm. So after the sand storm blows away half you lawn, the rain comes in and washes what's left away. The winds in a Ha-boob will sometimes be near 75-100 mph. So, not a fun thing to drive through. Florida has it's Huricanes, the midwest and southern USA have tornadoes, California has earth quakes, and the south west has Ha-boobs.
