There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is it you are riding? On my 18 RTL I have gotten on average about 190 miles per tank, with as low as 150 running at 75 in strong headwinds, and as many as 225 when doing more like 55.
Although his signature does not say anything about his ride (hint, hint, Greg), he IS posting in the Ryker forum. :dontknow:

29-31 mpg with my Rally model. I rarely go more than 120 miles on a tank though because I don't like running it dry.

Just a curiosity question. Does anyone know the gas tank capacity as listed in the specs? I cannot find the information after doing a search. :bowdown:

My last 4 fill ups averaged 37.5 mpg. That's about normal for me. 900ACE, eco mode, limited street driving, cruising the country roads @55-60 mph. and 10,280.0 miles as of today.

I've logged around 10 tanks in total, and I get 34-37 MPG. I have not noticed much difference in the gas consumption depending on my driving cycle, seem it doesnt change much between highway and slower country roads.
Its good to keep resetting the trip/odometer each fill up, and it acts as a very reliable fuel guage

37 MPG crusing under 65 MPH

One thing I do note, most of you get 30 or less mpg. Sounds like what happens when your having "to much fun" and tweeking that right hand during the enjoyment.
Same problem with my early 2008 GS and 2009 RS. Lousy mileage, but a great fun factor. :yes:

Some of the differences in MPG may be due to different elevation. Oxygen concentration decreases with elevation and the oxygen sensor reduces fuel delivery to compensate. I have noticed this trend with all of my fuel injected vehicles.

The fuel gauge on our car was broke a couple of years. We used the odometer as our fuel gauge. We would reset it each time we refueled an never let it go over 250 miles. Never once did we ever run out of gas......

I watched a video on YouTube that compared the gas mileage for Regular and Premium. If I recall it was no more then 1-2 miles per gallon, so I switched to regular as well. Have not noticed any difference in performance.
Also, when I refuel I put the nozzle all the way in, slow pump and stop the first time the pump stops. I'm always worried about an over fill and getting gas all down the sides of my ride.
Certain pumps always spill over. Even when it is way before full.
My bike has fuel indicator problems if I am just topping off with a gallon or so before a long ride. The thing will stay at full and the estimated mileage left will be really wanky until I stop the bike for a break. I am not going to take it in as I know it will sit in the shop forever and thy won’t find a problem. I will just live with it.

I think I read were that's common on all Rykers. I'll fill mine up and it will have full bars that will stay like that for about 50 miles or so before they start to fall.
