• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speedo problem

I just got a new 2015 RT-S SE-6. 225 miles on it. At times the analog speedo will read 9 mph faster then the digital one. And when I come to a stop it will be at 9 mph not 0. This happens every time I ride after a while riding. Has this happen to anyone else. Heres some pics.

This describes EXACTLY the fault present in my 2014RTL. It will happen intermittently and it is driving me crazy :yikes:

Wow guys. Others (myself included) fuss about a 2mph +- on digital compared to GPS but yours is wack. Know its a calibration thing , dealer should be able to get info from BRP , hoping not to reset your dash. B

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS

The analog speedo zeros itself every time you turn on the key. So if the needle cannot get to zero it will be out that amount over the whole scale. Look in the gauge and see if there is something in the way.

In the pick you can see it's of by 10 mph across the whole scale. digital is at 51 the analog at 60 When I
am done riding and turn the bike off it stays at 10 mph. When I ride again after it sits awhile It will 0 out as soon as I turn the ignition back on and the speedo is correct with the digital one for a while then go's off by 10mph again.

Keep pic handy but sounds like you should get Pitbulls to look at it & help you out while at spyderfest:thumbup:

Most people that have an issue like yours have reported the needle can't zero out because the needle is touching the scale or the lens. Easy to fix but yours appears different in that it changes after zeroing out correctly on startup. I think it is time time to report it to your dealer and likely get a new gauge cluster.

Dealer looked at it and ordered a new cluster. They will install when it comes. Its Warranted but bet it is pricy.
