• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder crash, Prayers for this family

What a tragedy for all involved. Be careful out there. As big as they are, Spyders can still be 'not seen' with disastrous consequences. Remember, the car driver walked away, but he still has to carry the memories.

Thanks for sharing. Prayers to the family. I can't even begin to contemplate what the wife/mother is going through. I wish her the needed strength to move on as best as possible and also for her son, who is now forever paralyzed. I contributed to the fund. It's the least I can do to help. God bless them.

Intersections - the most prominent site of motorcycle accidents. God bless mom and son.

It's so sad. :( Years ago, I made eye contact with a lady who was stopped at an intersection, but she pulled out in front of me anyway!?! Who knows what does or doesn't go through people's minds when they are behind the wheel?

I read something on here early on that has always stuck with me, and I do at every intersection ... "even if you make eye contact, watch their wheels.... if they start turning...."

Absolutely! The vehicle's front tires will telegraph where that vehicle is going and when. Give a quick look at the rims or hubcaps.

So sad to see this.
Our prayers are with Mrs. Gosnell and Makiah.

Be careful out there. We suffer the fate of others mistakes.

Over the years it's mostly been the cars on my left when at or approaching an intersection that appear to not see me at first or not at all. Those are the ones that spook me the most. I'd like to find a dash cam that has a 180-degree field of view to record some of these drivers that pull out in front of me or at least try to.
