• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderblog: Albuquerque

I had the opportunity to ride around the foothills of Sandia mountain yesterday here in Albuquerque, NM. I made a video blog, and thought I'd share. It looks best in 720p High Def. I hope you enjoy!

I don't see a link to the video. :dontknow: No eye candy for me today I guess. :gaah:

Not sure why the embedded video isn't working. Here is the direct link to Youtube. You can view it there. Enjoy! :)

If it comes up jumbled looking--just click on it and it will still take you there. You can also search for "High Desert Spyder" on YouTube and it's the first one that comes up.

For those that have given me much love as I've progressed in my video making/editing/sharing, etc. This is where I started. And despite its obvious flaws, I still love this one...the wide-eyed new Spyder rider documenting the love of the ride.

Best,

Another great vid, Andy. Great scenery from an area that I used to dirt bike in - you really felt like you were in the desert then. One question ... How did you get the shot that looks like your view from behind your helmet visor? That's cool!

{Off Topic} I loved the snowboarding shots. Reminds me of when we would go inner tubing about half way to the ski area, a place we called "The Bowl"

{On Topic} One last question ... How do your mount your drift to your helmet?

Keep up the good work!

Shh, NM is a wonderful secret. Don't go showing everyone how awesome it is or everyone will want to move there (like me)...

This was my first and most primitive vid. The inside helmet shot was from sticking my iPhone in my helmet. :). And I used a regular camera--this is before I got my drift. It's funny when you go back and look at the stuff you've made over the course of the year and you see how you've progressed. ;)
