• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. We had a great little ride with two other Spyders, two Harleys and a Victory this weekend through the Tunnel of Trees in northern lower Michigan. Here are a few of the pics.

Thanks to ksin (and husband), SpyderRyder810 (and husband) for making this a nice little ride and visit weekend.

Coming home on Sunday, we followed some friends of dltang and I (who rode their Harley up) back towards home and they took us on another little adventure ride. It was very cool (mid 40's to low 50's) and cloudy and we were ready to get home so we wondered why they led us back to the west coastline of Michigan. We got a little concerned when the sign said Road Ends and we saw water up ahead. Figured they got lost and we were stuck backtracking. Just over the rise, we saw a ferry. How cool. Taking the Spyders across Lake Charlevoix on The Ironton Ferry was fun. Now if anyone asks if that thing (my Spyder) goes on the water like a SeaDoo, I can say yes. :D

For those who don't want to look it up, Captain Sam Alexander who ran the ferry years ago, is in Ripley's Believe it or Not for traveling more than 15,000 miles without getting more than 1,000 feet from his house. Click for another informational link on the Ironton Ferry.

Looks like you guys had a blast. We took a 120 mile loop ride yesterday on our two-wheelers and the weather was fantastic. We even saw a silver Spyder during the first 1/3 of the ride. I gave him a honk and a thumbs up. He probably thought I was a freak. That is only the third Spyder I've seen on the road that I didn't go to meet up with since we got ours in February of last year.

 Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to doing that ride in the near future with my "wrench" a.k.a. husband :roflblack: he's the best!:yes:
