• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

the snow is away here in Austria - so I tested my new rear tire (Hankook Ventus V12) - has more grip than my old Toyo - and you see how stable the front is on higher speed - BajaRon set and very soft (longer) RFY shocks .. runs perfect 17.000 miles now

Nice video. Looks like a great route to ride. Very little traffic, a nice two lane highway, and beautiful scenery. What more could a rider ask for. Hopefully I wont be needing tires for a while, but it good to know whats out there that will fit our machines, and how well they perform.

Just got back today. Here is a photo from yesterday of the road that goes toward the summit of Mingus Mtn from the pass. Last time I was here I don't believe this was paved. At the summit (7800 ft) there is a cliff that has a hang glider launch. It's now a real fun ride, you can see the road winding down below in this photo.

Made our first 2up-full-loaded test this weekend - the cases damaged my EU-Blinkers on the back. I've changed them to the US Version now, better to find out now and not during our holiday-tour!

Took a roundabout route to a casino today, enjoying the countryside roads.

Left the casino several hours later about $250 on the positive, came home at night with a bit of rain.

Put about 100 miles total on the Ryker.

Great day!

Fitted Advance Sport Touring Ryker helmet locks. Works under Can-Am Max Mount. The Left side was too tight for one of my helmets, as the swingarm/rear drive is there. I couldn't tell if it would work with Can-Am saddle bag mount, but looking at pics, even if the helmet fit, it might be tough to reach the lock. It's considerably cheaper than handlebar end helmet locks and I'm happy so far!

Today I installed quick/hard mount, whatever it's called. F-4 custom windshield. Installed and routed wiring for GPS.
The mount and F-4 was super easy..... Wiring the GPS was not.

We just rode past there on Friday. Never went down that road. Will need to check it out. We rode up from Chino Valley to Jerome for lunch.

Today I mounted Comie travel trunk, Ram X-mount for phone and cushion inserts on the grips .That's all today.

Well.....Let's see. Today I installed Baja-Ron's end links. Seems simple, maybe 30 minute job.
OH NO !! Three hour job. It's done, not going to talk about it, EVER.:dontknow:

Oohh, I don't like to hear that. I've been considering those end links, and any mods that I perform on my Ryker has to be simple!

Two days ago I drove my motorhome to central Phx again for some suspension work that would take up most of the day, so I hauled my Ryker along and took it for a morning ride before the heat came on (106 degrees). I rode up to the Dobbins overlook in South Mountain Park, which I haven't been to in many years. Fun little mountain road. Here's a couple photos, the first one is from the Lookout. You can see Phoenix's modest downtown skyline in the distance. The second photo is as close as you can get to the iconic broadcast towers on the mountain.

Huh, photos aren't loading, I'll try again later.

Hey Jeff - I am in Mesa. A friend and I installed the BajaRon bar and end-links ack in December. They made a huge difference. The issue with the time changing out the bar has to do with getting the 4 nuts back onto the bolts. They are in a very tough place to get to, and you really need a magnet on a stick as the nuts will drop where you can’t reach them. You might want to head out here one of these days. I can show you a few things and perhaps ride a ways.
