• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Added turn signals lights to the mirrors so that my wife can tell me when I'm turning the wrong way.

Seriously though, she can't see any of the lights on the fenders, so I added these for the benefit of her anticipating lane changes and turns. The correct direction or otherwise.

Beats the heck out of a quick jab to your rib cage. Lol

Went tooling around the back roads earlier this morning before the heat had a chance to set in.
Let it cool down in the garage a bit before a good wash and dry session..... ready for another week.

Headed out this AM for another trip from Az, up to Moab then to a diff part of Co this time. Finally finished adding diamond plate to the front of the trailer yesterday in case we hit rain to keep water & road debris from hitting the bike to a minimum (this time ;) ). Plan is to visit friends, find some cool routes to ride the Spyder and bring back a bunch of peaches for canning. First time out with new brakes/rotors and Vredestein fronts.

We're heading to Colorado on Wednesday. Going to do Rocky Mountain Park. Will do several other interesting places, but have not done a schedule for them. So we will see what we see.

2024 F3 Limited. Installed top cuffs for ram mounts. Nice aluminum castings but the factory lower cuffs are plastic, not feeling warm and fuzzy about this. They have locating pins in the handlebars. We will see.

Really wanted to go for a late evening ride on Sunday, but it was still 90/97 after 7 pm. So this morning I decided to ride the F3 to the gym at 6:30. I left the bike out thinking I might ride out later today, but with it being 84/92 already, I think I will pull it in the garage for the day.

I picked one of the hottest days of the year to take my Spyder to my dental cleaning appointment. It was 81° as I rode in to town and 91° on the way home. The best part about this ride was that it was just a spur of the moment decision and I felt comfortable just jumping on the bike and getting out in the commute flow to actually go somewhere. Feels good to have melded with the bike. Now if it would just cool off a bit...
