Same...That is nice to know. Thanks. On my week long trip from middle Tennessee to Pittsburgh, PA, I found out rolling off on the throttle did not cancel the cruise control. I was surprised since three of my other bikes that have cruise control work that way.
Mine doesn't work that way, either. I have to tap on the brake to cancel the cruise control setting. Not a biggie for me.That is nice to know. Thanks. Just goes to show the difference in people. I've got them on mine and they made all the difference in the world as far as comfort. I found the OE's too small and my hands cramped up. They still do now but not as fast LOL.My 2015 RT-S had the foam grip covers on. I believe they were “Grip Puppies” brand. I could feel the heat through them on Low and High. I took them off because they made the grips too large. They were uncomfortable.
Ditto, I leave mine on all the time so I don't bother with the switch other than to set it. Only thing I don't like is if you don't give it some throttle while hitting the brake I slow down too abruptly.Mine doesn't work that way, either. I wear gloves size between a small and medium. On the new to me Spyder the fat grips didn’t give me a warm fuzzy when it comes to control. I figure that after a few more thousand miles on it, I won’t feel uncomfortable with foam grip covers, which I removed carefully.Just goes to show the difference in people. Same 'few more thousand miles on it' thing goes for the operation of the cruise control. Applying a bit of throttle before tapping the brake will work. Throttle by wire is a bit different on the cruise control function too. The throttle returns to closed position when it is set. It is a lot of fun to ride.Ditto, I leave mine on all the time so I don't bother with the switch other than to set it. The larger brake pedal works great for me.replaced my burnt out headlights with some LEDs from Lamonster. Also added the big brake pedal.
Don't know if it is normal or not, but there are others that have posted the same thing about the sound proofing breaking down into a sticky mess.So today I got to the spark plugs. What an interesting adventure. I’d attach a picture except my photos are too large to post. Not certain if I can reduce the size on my iPhone. Is it normal for that foam sound barrier to break down into a sticky falling apart mess?
Thanks. I am not very proficient with searches on here yet, or finding specific threads/sub-forum topics. I’m working on reducing picture sizes too.Don't know if it is normal or not, but there are others that have posted the same thing about the sound proofing breaking down into a sticky mess.
It seems to be a regular thing.
My 2015 F3S has done the same thing. That foam is a gooey mess. So far I try not to touch it, but eventually I'll replace it with some foil-faced insulation that should hold up better. So today I got to the spark plugs. What an interesting adventure. I have already ordered the foil backed insulation. Should be here Saturday. My 2015 F3S has done the same thing. That foam is a gooey mess. So far I try not to touch it, but eventually I'll replace it with some foil-faced insulation that should hold up better.
