• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Preparing for a trip tomorrowdown to Southern Utah, Escalante and Tory.

Trying to get the iPhone to work on a 2026 S2S though.

I can get Bluetooth working but as soon as I plug the USB cable in, Bluetooth drops in a few seconds. Playing with infinite iPhone settings, as per everything on the subject I can find, but still no success. I’ve checked the USB-C with my USB tester, the cables are all correct for data and power. Changing cables didn’t do anything differently.

Probably going to give up with CarPlay and just use Apple Maps on the iPhone and let the USB just power the phone. I’ll just couple my Sena SRL2 comms system to the iPhone and not the bike.

Shame there is so much aggravation when my 2017 entertainment system in my SUV just works first time and every time.

Any way, first decent trip on this new Spyder, so let’s hope all goes well and the weather holds out.
