• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I think I failed. Like I told them, I knew it was Tuesday because yesterday was Monday as I was going to show up then. I’m retired, what do I care what day it is?

I passed the clock as I have only ever had analogue manual wind watches.

I got one of the words right.

Repeating numbers backwards I don’t think I passed that. I don’t drink but I don’t think I would pass one of the DUI tests.

I managed identifying the triangle but failed the largest object. I thought the clock was the largest object.

I wish you could study for this test, it would make it a lot easier.

Then you get a story, but how was I to know Chicago was in Illinois? I thought it was in Indiana. I didn’t realize there was going to be a geography test, or any test for that matter. I would have payed more attention.

You didn't know that Chicago is in Illinois? 🤯

I'm also retired but I manage to keep track of what day it is, my wife makes sure of this. :ROFLMAO:

During my exam, when the nurse asked me to draw a clock, I asked her if I could draw a digital clock, she said to knock myself out as long as the clock face was round.

I elected to draw a normal clock anyways. ;)

Awesome! I'm at 12.5 years at the moment. I retired 1/1/2014 after 30 years. I'm aiming for being retired longer than I have had to work. Gotta make it another 18 years for that, so far so good.
As I think about my life, I spent a quarter of it growing up, going to school and some college living at home. I spent the next half of my life serving my country for four years and working at 4 jobs all but one of them using the training in electronics I received in the USCG. And most recently another quarter of my life enjoying retirement.

I’m one of them there immigrants that gets confused with states that begin with the letter “I”. At least I knew the state began with an “I”.

I like the digital clock idea.😀

My wife keeps a wall calendar with events I need to know and makes sure that I do what I’m supposed to be doing. I still often don’t know the actual day of the week though. It doesn’t seem to matter anymore.

All joking aside, these tests seem useless, but actually, over consecutive years such tests have proven to be quite good at detecting on-going cognitive decline. Such tests seem useless, trivial, and funny, and while they still do, you’re fine. Then suddenly one year you can’t do them quite so well. It’s when they are no longer trivial and funny that’s when it’s illustrating something problematic. 🙁

Doing nothing today, but trying to decide how early I will need to get out for a ride tomorrow or on July 4th. Some around here like to do "night rides". They get out and ride when it's cooler and mostly to show off their lights. I am on the other side. My night time vision isn't what it used to be, so if I am in before dark, I definitely am not going out after dark, especially on the 2's or 3's. From the looks of things when I headed to the gym this morning, if I can get out between 6:30 and 7:00am, I should be able to get in some local riding and possibly 150 miles before the predicted 102 temps get to be too much.
Stay cool and at least hydrated this weekend.

Blacklightning ,I in the same way as you. Come riding at night is not in my book of things to do. My eyes have gotten pretty bad for that. Unless The road is well lit or I can have bright lights on it is best for me to stay home and wait for the sun to come up. Enjoy your rideing an be safe.
