It's most useful as a shade for the cluster screen when you park with the sun behind you!!!

One thing I'd like to see returned is a fully manual transmission.
It took a while getting used to the semi auto paddle shifts, and I'm OK with it.
Still, I'd prefer the fully manual transmission, including the clutch.
That's my opinion, I could be wrong, and I'm sure someone on this site would be delighted to point it out.
On my 21 RTL we could do without 3 different ways to adjust the volume on the sound system. I have never used the above tank controls and rarely use the left joystick to adjust the volume. one button is more than enough. Does anyone use the tank controls? What a waste.
The turn signal indicators on the dash of my 2014 RTL were almost impossible for my old eyes to detect..... Jim
I'm sure it's like the earlier years. It's not a distance cancel but it is a time cancel, about 30 seconds. Try it. Just be patient! My complaint about turn signals not bad but, non cancelling feature not available except on right or left turns, I'd like to see road distance cancellation. Lane change ya gotta push real hard on the button at the middle, then sometime it goes to the opposite turn signal. Just sort of distracting. 2020 RTL.......
Per the Owner's Manual for the 2021 RTL: "Turn signals will automatically turn off after 30 seconds while the vehicle is moving."I'm sure it's like the earlier years. It's not a distance cancel but it is a time cancel, about 30 seconds. Try it. Just be patient!

:agree: 15 to 20 seconds would be much better, IMO. That's why I seldom rely on letting it shut down the signal. 30 seconds at 60 mph is a half mile of travel!I think 30 seconds is a bit long, but helpful if ya forget to shut down the turn signal.
I have a 2014 RTL so I find the helmet hooks under the seat useless, the inability to set the screen to what the rider wants to see. For example, I may want to see the radio settings rather than the speed and rpms, which I can see on the analog displays as well. The safety message pull-down, although I use it to block the sun when parked and I clip directions on index cards when I don't use GPS.
