There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fatboy, if you did not get a PM as to why something was removed then, if you want you should send a PM the one of the Moderators with your question with details of what post is missing. It may take a Moderator some time to track it down. i.e. off topic or one of the other prohibited types of post.

I believe the posts in question were for fund me type events. We do not post them on this site. You should have received a PM explaining this.
I'm sorry Fatboy, but the very last post you made on this site before the one quoted immediately above was your post #9 in this thread almost a month ago! So I don't know where you might've posted the ride report you mention above, but it wasn't on THIS Forum! :dontknow:
However, if you keep on placing posts &/or threads that are clearly not 'Spyder General Discussion' posts or threads into that section they WILL keep on being moved into the most appropriate section/sub-forum for them iaw the Forum Rules.
