Finally Friday morning and it is warm/hot here in Indiana. Currently a little cloudy at 75°F. I believe that this humidity is here to stay (90%).

Today's high at 86°F with sunshine.
Low of 67°F. Rain showers are coming this afternoon. I guess it's a good thing.

Setting new rainfall rate amount records on my Davis weather station.

Since the start of the month, we've had 6.42" of rain. That's not the record but on Wednesday, at 2:41p it was raining just about as hard as it can rain and my station reported a rate of 10.87" per hour, a new record! Yesterday at around the same time we had an 8.97" rain rate.

My lightning detector reported 1244 strikes within a 10-mile radius yesterday. The dogs weren't happy, not at all. They're not afraid of thunder, they bark at it.
