• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the correction.
I remembered 4.
Two on top and two below but you are undoubtedly correct.
Still it is well worth the time to remove it if you are doing anything with the front suspension

EDIT:
Looking at the drawing I can find six (four atop, two below) What am I missing?

The wing panels at the ends each one.........Mike :bbq:

What is the best approach to get at the jam nuts on the inside on the tie rods?

18mm crowfoot socket, 18" extension and a 12" breaker bar are what I use when doing alignments. Easily reached without removal of any body panels.

There are a few connectors from memory here goes
1.horn
2.main lights
3.driving lights
4.the AAPTS sensor
It isn't a hard job at all and if you take it off and you don't have a 12V power plug in the frunck it is the time to add one as the wiring is easy to find.
And if your Spyder has grease fittings on the A-Arms (upper and lower) it's a good time to do that too.
