Lately, all we have been getting is rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and strong thunderstorms. Some days it is dry, then other days it has been raining.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hadn't ridden my Spyders or 2 wheeler since returning from the cross country trip on 6/10. Plans for a ride on Saturday got postponed due to having to pick my daughter up from the airport and doing some car shopping with the wife. This is all after picking up windows for my daughters home renovation. Sunday was spent with the wife, kids, and grandkids after church. I asked them if anyone wanted to go for a ride. The only one who was receptive was my oldest daughter, who wasn't dressed properly. They left about 8pm and I had to get out. So I took the F3 out for a 10 mile loop around the block and parked it for another day. Maybe things will work out this coming weekend.

I use https://www.resizepixel.com/ to down size pictures to 500xXXX. You then click Attach File in the block with the paper clip. You will get a picture with it's name and the work Insert... and a trash can on it. Click insert, then Thumbnail. The picture will insert into your post and block with it will below it. Just click save or post reply if you at replying to someone or a thread with a photo. And yes I have a few wipe lash scars for failures to insert photos correctly.Pics up the high school yesterday. 55° this morning and I’ll head out to feed my daughters dog while she’s away. Then prolly a ride out to Hampton Beach. Any one want to go?Sorry no pics! Still figuring out how to do thumbnails. (I got yelled at by the site police)

Tuesday we jumped on the Spyder to head for Paducah KY for a Bob Evans run and an over night stay. Weather was nice but turned out hotter than forecast. It was good to get back home yesterday, but the Spyder did just fine on the trip. Oh and we tried the seat cushions that have been all over the internet (gel honeycomb), don't waste your money.
Dang!!! I’m out of town today, otherwise I would have hounded you to meet up. Hope you enjoy the ride, and let me know if you’d want to meet next time.

How do the EBC Pads/Rotors look after 11K? How much pad life left, and are the pads chewing up the rotors? How are they on brake dust. I need new pads (9,900 miles) and am waffling between just doing OEM pads or upgrading to the EBC kit.

Got up early and rode to an appointment with my local mechanic at 09:00 in the morning. It was laser alignment time for the front wheels.
After aligning, he took it for a test drive and he was very happy with the handling. He also told me he had done a software update for me as well.
I paid for the excellent service and rode back home on some curvy inland roads.
And yes, the handling was really better, so he did a fine job.

It was a beautiful ride, unfortunately it was a quick turnaround since I needed to be back by 1:30 but the weather was absolutely perfect. I'd love to meet up next time so I will reach out before I head that way. Glasgow looks like a great town.

They look good. I dont get any brake dust, at least not noticeable. From what Ive heard, the EBC pads are better than OEM. I will say my F3S with stock rotors and pads stopped especially well. With the EBC rotors and pads the braking ( I feel ) in general is better. The New Rotors look good also. The reason I changed front rotors was the fact they were warped. I had a lot of front end shake when braking.
For some reason the EBC pads took what seemed like forever to get bedded in.
