@Dasmoetorhead,Don't blame you.
Lately, all we have been getting is rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and strong thunderstorms. Some days it is dry, then other days it has been raining.

Made another top case thingy door for my in-law bob's 2014 RT today.This newest to me Spyder RTL did not have the little compartment door in the top case. It had a wrap around goodie bag holder that I removed. So today I made a DIY door. Velcro was already there in the compartment from the thing that I removed.

I use https://www.resizepixel.com/ to down size pictures to 500xXXX. You then click Attach File in the block with the paper clip. You will get a picture with it's name and the work Insert... and a trash can on it. Click insert, then Thumbnail. The picture will insert into your post and block with it will below it. Just click save or post reply if you at replying to someone or a thread with a photo. And yes I have a few wipe lash scars for failures to insert photos correctly.Pics up the high school yesterday. 55° this morning and I’ll head out to feed my daughters dog while she’s away. Then prolly a ride out to Hampton Beach. Any one want to go?Sorry no pics! Still figuring out how to do thumbnails. (I got yelled at by the site police)

Dang!!! I’m out of town today, otherwise I would have hounded you to meet up. Hope you enjoy the ride, and let me know if you’d want to meet next time.Taking a ride up to Glasgow Kentucky today, it sounds like a nice little town and I've never been.
Das,When I 1st put the new EBC rotors & double sintered EBC brake pads on my F3S it seemed it took forever to get them bedded in. I was beginning to wonder if this upgrade was even worth it. But after a few rides it became quite clear that the Spyder was stopping better than ever and ZERO front wheel shake when braking hard.
The original rotors were warped at around 5000 mi. It was probably my fault for getting them way too hot coming down the " Snake Hwy 421" too many times going fast while trying to learn the dynamics of the Spyder. After that, I started slowing down a bit, but the new parts handle the heat real good. Never had another problem. That was 11,000 miles ago.
I'm wondering if the stock rotors are junk to begin with. I've never had rotors warp so quick. Actually Ive never warped rotors before. And from what I'm reading. I'm not alone.
Just my worthless tid bit of information.
It was a beautiful ride, unfortunately it was a quick turnaround since I needed to be back by 1:30 but the weather was absolutely perfect. I'd love to meet up next time so I will reach out before I head that way. Glasgow looks like a great town.Dang!!! I’m out of town today, otherwise I would have hounded you to meet up. Try a sheep skin. Made a believer out of me. Saved me from having to buy an expensive replacement seat, at least for now:Tuesday we jumped on the Spyder to head for Paducah KY for a Bob Evans run and an over night stay. Weather was nice but turned out hotter than forecast. It was good to get back home yesterday, but the Spyder did just fine on the trip. Oh and we tried the seat cushions that have been all over the internet ( gel honeycomb), don't waste your money.
They look good. I dont get any brake dust, at least not noticeable. From what Ive heard, the EBC pads are better than OEM. I will say my F3S with stock rotors and pads stopped especially well. With the EBC rotors and pads the braking ( I feel ) in general is better. The New Rotors look good also. The reason I changed front rotors was the fact they were warped. I had a lot of front end shake when braking.Das,
How do the EBC Pads/Rotors look after 11K? How much pad life left, and are the pads chewing up the rotors? How are they on brake dust. I need new pads (9,900 miles) and am waffling between just doing OEM pads or upgrading to the EBC kit.
Thanks in advance!
