• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RTS 12 volt key controlled accessory source

I'm looking for a key controlled 12 volt accessory source lead on my 2014 RTS to hard wire my GPS power supply to...Anyone know where to look and what color the wires are to tap in?? or can you get a 12 keyed source at the fuse box and use fuse tap??

Any help greatly appreciated...

THANK YOU,larryd

I would think that all RT,s share a common electrical harness. If that is true, there will be a open electrical terminal that the Factory GPS wire harness hooks into, and it is key switch controlled.

That sounds like it should be a GOOD source of 12 V. keyed electrical power for my GPS...
Now, can someone supply the location and color of the wiring used for the factory GPS on the 2014 Limited machines???

THANKS again, larryd

resurrecting old thread...

For 2014 RT and RTS. GPS Wires installed
Remove the right side panels so you can get to the right back corner of the gas tank. Picture one showes the audio jack which when hooked up announces direction thru the audio system. See picture 2. LT GN/Yel stripe is ground (pin 1 of connector) , LT GN/ Black strip is +12vdc (pin 2 of connector).

Bringing this one back from the dead...does anyone know what the name of the plug type I need to plug into this would be called? I'd rather buy the proper connector and wire to it and plug in for my relay switched and the ground input (heated seat, gps, etc), than to hack on factory wires.
