• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my Lamonster fog lights installed. Had more problems getting the plastic back on than installing the lights. The real pain was the trailer wiring harness. I bought it off Ebay and it came with no directions what so ever. I figured out the wiring part no problem, the pain was the trailer wiring itself. Getting the trailer wires back to the rear fender required removing both seats, both back rests, and the rear plastic on top of the fender. Then there was the trial and error of finding a way to secure the wire after I got it ran to the back to keep it out of the rear tire. I removed a couple screws underneath the fender and put wire holders (the loop type) and then used those to run zip ties through. BTW, there are no pictures. By the time I figured out how to secure them I was too frustrated to even think about pictures. After all was said and done I hooked up my trailer and I am definitely going to have to get some better tail lights on the Tag-along trailer. I replaced the existing bulbs with LED's but the sockets are so chessy they don't work well. Both light up for running lights but only one brake light works. Not to mention they just look like crap.:banghead:

:shocked: :congrats:: I think... :dontknow:
Sometimes it's best to just walk away for a little while, and come back to it with a clear head, and an open mind! Good Luck! :thumbup:

That usually works for me, Bob.....but I'd add - and after you have put bandaids on your hands from the cuts and scrapes...:thumbup:

:D In MY case: that is always part of the deal... :banghead:
My Missus says that I've lost so much knuckle-hide over the years, that if she had all of it :shocked:: she could quilt herself a pretty nice George Clooney! :gaah:

LED's & SOCKETS !!!!

....If I understand you correctly ---- you put LED's into the Filament bulb sockets ( a swap out ) ...... I would just go to Walmart and get a complete LED taillight unit and re-place what is on the trailer now . They aren't expensive, and will probably fix your problem ....... jmho ..... Mike :thumbup:

After reading what it takes to install a trailer wire harness, I am waiting for Spyderfest and that done there.

Better lights!

Drove all around Nashville today in search of some better lights for my trailer. After 4 stops I finally found something that I liked that would work. After I got home with them I had to fabricate a mount for them. That was fairly easy. Now I just got to figure out why the side marker lights quit working. Worse case scenario I will replace them with reflectors.:sour:

Harbor Freight (yeah, I know) has a cheap trailer LED light package for like $30. I put these on my small trailer (Harbor Freight trailer with a Sears X-Cargo mounted on it) and they're surprisingly good units that put out a lot of light.
