• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Alternate cooling method?

Either at a visit several years ago to Laguna Seca or Sears Point I always remember a vacuum cooling system a vendor was pushing. A small electric impeller pulled air through the engine at all times. The radiator was gone! Doesn't seem to have gained any traction, but did anyone ever see one of these in operation?

No but it sounds intriguing. So I am guessing the system is pulling air through the water jackets in the block instead of coolant? I am not sure if the system was efficient enough to keep the engine cool. The other consideration would have to be the load the impeller puts onthe electrical system.

Yes, that was the device. Constant vacuum via the impeller. Not sure about the heat problem, initially I was told over and over again...liquid cooled motorcycle engines supress noise and vibration. Fins aren't just for fish, they cool engines nicely. Anyways, the sales men were pushing, lighter weight, less maintenance and trouble, constant airflow...no radiators storing heat while stopped, possibly overheating and dumping it's fluid. I think they also had a simplified one for small 250 engines using a venturi and the airbox.
