• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High RPM at Start

Anyone else having issues on start up with high RPM? My new F3 when cold starts at 2500 -3000 RPM and scares you. I stopped at dealer today and when the Tech started it they all jumped. He is sending an inquiry to BRP. We started 2 on the floor and they were at about 1500.

Know exactly what you mean

Noticed that when I started mine up the first time. Seams strange that an engine with very little oil in the passages would rev that high at start up. My wife even noticed it.
Possibly something to due with the throttle body butterflies being open at engine shut-down? Lamonster?

I find start at 1500 or so and then down to 900 in a few seconds. Sounds like something is up on your 1330.

:agree: Mine spins up to just about 1300, and then drops back...

YOu have something unusual going on. Please let us know what they find; good luck!

My F3s does the exact same thing... Startup it revs up to like 2800 rpm and right back down....

Interesting..!!

Should not be that high and only for a split second. If not a computer adjustment must be some vacuum lines. If you find out please let us know...
