There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Is it possible to do a 2014 to 2012 seat swap on an RT?

Should work. I got the new comfort seat & it is backrest ready & went on just fine on my 2012RTS

The seat that I would like to put on my 2012 RT is the 2014 RT standard seat with backrest. I bought my RT new in Sept and Saturday I noticed that the crotch seam was pulling out. Dealer said that it was on warranty and that they would start the paperwork for a new seat. I called the dealer today and asked that since I was getting a new seat anyway, was there any chance that I could upgrade to a 2014 seat w/backrest and that I would pay any difference in price. They said that they would have to call BRP tomorrow and ask if it was possible. Hope so, it would be nice.

yes I just did that with my
Ultimate seat from my 2012 RT-s to my 2014 RT-s fits just fine!
