• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it too early...

...To remind everyone in here who is an American; to vote on Tuesday? :dontknow:
I'm not saying who to vote for, or what ballot initiatives are worthwhile; I'm just saying that if you DON'T vote... you can't complain! :D

Here in Georgia it seems our choices are like choosing between hanging or the gas chamber.

Hmmm .... seems to me that George Carlin took a different approach. As I recall, he always said (something like) ... "Since I didn't vote and did; you elected this mess. So, you have no right to complain .. but, I DO (since I had no part in the vote." :sour:

That being said ... and believe me, I am just kidding about NOT voting ... Bob is right. VOTE! Your voice / vote is important, regardless of what you believe or who / what you vote for. Just make sure you vote!

Thanks for the reminder, Bob .... already voted early, and spydercowboy (aka hogcowboy) has voted by mail.

All the best .... Ann

Never to early..!!

Already did... But let it not be the proverbial "I think of it twice..once to early and once to late"...:roflblack:

Thanks Ann! I remember that earlier this Fall; the voter turnout in Scotland's big vote was over 85%
We should learn from them...

I agree with Bob . . . if you don't vote, you have no right to complain . . . and you are part of the problem with the mess our Congress is in, today. Congress is 100% accountable for every cent of national debt, because the nation can't spend money without the Congress authorizing it.

"We the people" need to hold every member of Congress accountable for the good of the nation . . . rather than letting them continue to enrich themselves at the expense of our nation's future. Nations have failed, before, and will again . . . we owe our children, grand children, and all future generations the same chances and liberties that we had . . . and that will only happen when Congress gets the message that we will hold them accountable.

Please don't misconstrue this as a political post, because it isn't. I'm mad as hell at every member of Congress, regardless of party affiliation.

If there were 100% voter turnout; and we ended up with Trans-Gendered Martian Communists getting elected ; I could deal with that.
It truly would have been the "will of the people"... nojoke

I have voted in every election since I became eligible, but I'm getting really tired of voting for the lesser of the two evils.

Yes, vote. It is your right as an American citizen.

Unfortunately...there is a whole lot of other BS that goes with all this.

No list, but you all know where this could go.

The latest is the computerized voting machines and how they tally up the winners within seconds after the polls are closed.

:agree: Plus I feel certain that I can complain about Pelosi and Dingy Harry whether I vote or not since I can't vote against them. nojoke
