• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

M.A.P.S. vac hoses...any others?

I hope to get time to pull all the tupperware off this weekend and replace the 2 vac hoses. While I'm in there, and have hose in supply, are there others the same diameter that should be replaced?

Thanks,
Rick

Well this was a piece of cake job. Took a heck of a lot longer to get to them than it did to change them.........like everything else on the Spyder I guess.

:congrats: On a good job; well done! :firstplace:
Did you replace them with more OEM pieces, or did you have new ones cut from silicon?

Did you need to remove the air cleaner box in order to do this job?

Nope. Just take the front/left sections of plastic off, and then the acoustic panel (hard, thick unfinished panel around the motor.) And on the left side, toward the front left corner of the airbox you'll find the m.a.p.s. sensor. The lines are small black rubber pieces of tubing about 4" long. No clamps or anything, they just pull off the hose barbs. The front one would be easier with small hands, but I have wide hands and managed to do it.
