• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

MPG dropped after a cat delete install - any ideas/suggestions?

I have 500 miles on my 2023 S2S after cat delete install, and mileage has dropped from 32 to 27. The bike was idled after installation, I'm using the same gas, and riding the same or less aggressive.

You're not playing with the gas a little more to hear that fire coming out of the pipes a little harder than you did before? ;) Ya, right! X2 on the ECM, it's got to be driven to relearn the fuel trims! Drive it!

Just a CAT delete shouldn't REQUIRE a tune, but a custom tune can take advantage of the reduced back-pressure.
Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes may reset the fuel trims to default, letting it adapt a bit faster.

If I do that should I let it idle for 5 minutes to help the reset

Put the cat back on and see if mileage returns to the normal 33-37 MPG range of a Spyder, not babied along at 55 MPH. BTW there is reason why the cat is there.

Don't do anything. Just run several tanks of gas through it and let "it" decide what kind of MPGs it is going to give you. I run a cat delete with a custom muffler and stage II, and I get 40 MPG 1 or 2 up time after time. I gotta say that I ride conservatively 95% of the time. If I want to get froggy, I can cut that 40 MPG nearly in half. Your MPGs begin at your wrist, and your scooter will do whatever you ask it to do. 37 ain't bad. Keep that up, and you'll soon get 40, if your speedo is correct. You can check that with your GPS app.
