• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I did my Spyder firmware update to V 5.1.0. I use an iPhone but the Android folks might appreciate that BRP Go! maps now work, or not happy depending upon your views about BRP Go! maps.

I stared at my Spyder after my southern Utah trip and thought I should give it a good bath. Then I realized if I did that, I'd have nothing to do tomorrow. So it languishes looking all dirty until I get round to it tomorrow.

It's now done about 1,300 miles since I bought it and has averaged 45 mph and 38 mpg gallon. I think it's well run in now.

You can also download an Acrobat PDF copy of the Operator's Guide here:

I have a had a hard copy and down load, along with service manual. It was more an excuse to meet the seller and he gave us two modular helmets. Also nice day for 85 mile ride. We stopped by Edmonds waterfront on the way home.
